Dear diary:
Yesterday I left here with the scent of blood thick in my nostrils.
Today I leave here the sound of victory (many, many victories) trumpeting in my veins.
In the interest of meeting up with my beloved for dinner I will not go into the details here,
however the pride in my step today bears notation for posterity.
And in other news -- I still thrive on this rollercoaster, even though the lows are slowly losing their lethal sharpness, the highs are still...
Miraculous.
In other words: I. Love. My. Life.
In the grand scheme of things, even if this is or isn't a zero-sum game -- I think I've already won.
Cool. That's a really good feeling.
