I can;t say I agree with Gibson on this one, but then again, I haven't read his take on it. The possibility for mundaness is surely present in blogs, but so is shared insight and creativity. But, as the net is general, how to sort out the dross from the gold? Perhaps some later historian will have adequate tools to sift through all that is recorded somewhere going through the net. WHo knows what that potential person might find?!? Makes you wonder... So I say, if you have something worth sharing, where better to put it? In this day of distance, which the net itself helps perpetuate, but is by far not the sole factor. Inuberable little things have led humanity down this path, including such things as the chimney... However, even from chaos rises order. I do miss the public transit. I lost that by working in the south shore. It was often good food for though ;-)
