Yay! It sounds so exciting when you put it that way. I can't wait for my turn for a ride around the block.

I find it very amusing that about a month ago Greg and I decided a car finally had to be part of our lives and so we had almost decided for sure when a friend picked us up in his prius. that's the same car we we will look at getting next year.

Congratulations on the new car. Out of curiosity, which specific hybrid did you choose?
And I'm a bit annoyed you didn't talk to me at all about it! No matter, let me know how it works out...
...I'm hoping my next car is a fuel cell based one (or that it flies [although amphibious would be useful too]- either way...:-p)

congratulations! glad to see hybrids are catching on.
First time I got a ride in a hybrid, the driver explained that he's an environmentalist but he needed to show off his financial position (to recruit people into his multilevel marketing business). So the Prius is a status symbol, if that's what you need professionally!

Holy shite! a hybrid. You're now my personal hero. I've been saying that I won't buy a cra until the hybrids or electrics become affordable, though I've decided to get a move on with my licence as soon as I have a few bucks. Now that I actually know a real, live person with a hybrid, they suddenly seem possible...
