See I HAVE low blood pressure, lower than normal, and the docs put me on thyroid meds to elevate it. When they did I thought I was going to go mad. My heart rate accelerated slightly and I couldn't bear the sensation. I stopped the drugs, went back to the doctor and told her that I am happy being "low-normal" and she replied...it's quite possible that I am normal but they don't really know how to define normal when it comes to the adrenals, the thyroid and pituitary glands. Science may be logical but it doesn't understand entirely the logic of our beings, which are infinitely complex and mysterious. As far as I could see from your diary, you never had these problems before you went in for tests... but perhaps I missed something.

Well, I do remember reading about fainting spells. Gila, you've always high powered. In a sense, it is a choice. It might even just boil down to high energy, but shorter life, or longer yet seemengly lifeless. At least that's how I'm reading what you're saying. One thing though, the most important is to find the right balance for YOU. Doctors can tell you that, as much as they love to. They can really only give you indications, but in the end, you make the descisions. You sound quite better, so I'd listen to that, but at the same time, especially at work, don't try to do E V E R Y T H I N G! You can't change the world, and you can't do it alone. Fight your battles as fiecely as ever, but choose a few less, and maybe even guide a few more to a some others.
