In summary:
I'm free.
The closed the whole building except for about ten people that need to finish a product, and they've got four months. The decision was made a seven this morning, originally they were only going to cut a few teams, keeping mine, but I think I'm glad I get four weeks paid and time to do a bit of soul-searchin'.
The Linux conference bit, no women there and the men were too shocked to see me to even answer any questions. I may go back tomorrow with a few CVs in tow, but that feels dirty.
So dirty.
David just got here, they want to keep him until he finishes the user manual. That's got to be more lonely than this.
